Dr. D'Wayne Edwards stands as one of the most influential figures in footwear education and design, bringing decades of industry experience to Sneaker Week PDX. As president and founder of Pensole Lewis College of Design and Business, Edwards has transformed how the industry approaches talent development, having educated hundreds of professionals through innovative programs across multiple brands. His unprecedented achievement as one of the only Black designers to create a Jordan silhouette during his tenure as Design Director of Jordan Brand provides attendees with insights from someone who has truly broken barriers at the highest levels of footwear design.
