1803 Fund and Sneaker Week PDX just dropped the full schedule for this year's festival — three days, three themes, one historic block. Motion in The Low End runs July 31–August 2, 2026 in Portland's Lower Albina district, and it's built around education, innovation, and culture in equal measure, with more than 20 Black-owned businesses part of the lineup.

Three Days, Three Themes
Every Sneaker Week day now has its own identity: Knowledge Day, Innovation Day, and Culture Day. Each one blends education and entertainment, and each one supports the small businesses that make up The Low End.

Friday, July 31 — Knowledge Day
Workshops, portfolio reviews, and mentorship connecting students with real careers in footwear design.
- Benchmark Customization Workshop — 10:00–11:30 AM, Customization Station. Free youth workshop with Rob O from Benchmark PDX.
- Community Collections Customization Workshop & Conversation — 12:30–2:00 PM, Customization Station. With artists Tristan Irving and Herbert Beauclere.
- KIC FliX Special Screening and Discussion — 3:00–4:30 PM, Discussion Stage. Featuring Scarlett Creative, on the journey of Black creatives in the sneaker industry.
- S.P.A.R.K by Wilson Smith III — 6:00–9:30 PM, Art Shed. An evening of creativity and storytelling led by the legendary designer.
Saturday, August 1 — Innovation Day
Product showcases, tech demos, panels, and sustainability conversations for industry insiders and brand partners.
- Sneaker Week Tech Talk and Demo — 11:00 AM–12:30 PM, Art Shed. Creatives and developers on the future of community engagement and sneaker culture.
- The Design Combine — 12:30–2:00 PM, Art Shed. An interactive design skill challenge.
- The Closet Cleanout PDX — 1:00–3:00 PM, Art Shed Lot. Buy, sell, and trade curated apparel and sneaker treasures.
- Sustainability Soirée — 6:30–10:00 PM, Art Shed. A closer look at sustainable fashion and event production through innovative materials.
Sunday, August 2 — Culture Day
The festival's biggest public moment: live music, art installations, fashion showcases, and a community marketplace, plus an art and activism discussion.
- The K.I.C-Off Car Show — 1:00–3:00 PM, Art Shed Lot. Custom cars and sneakers celebrating car culture, with music.
- Kicks & Giggles K.I.C-Off Concert — 3:00–7:00 PM, Art Shed Lot. Hip-hop and R&B sets from Soundsbydonta, Kalan.FrFr, and Jus Family PDX.
