Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy describes what information SneakerWeek LLC collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SneakerWeek LLC (“SneakerWeek,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, purchase tickets, submit a form, or otherwise interact with Sneaker Week PDX. By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

Information you provide includes:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Order information when you purchase tickets, including billing details (payment card data is handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
  • Application information you submit through our partner, vendor, or volunteer forms, such as your organization, availability, sizing, and related responses.
  • Any messages or correspondence you send to us.

Information collected automatically includes:

  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the site and understand how it is used.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process ticket orders and deliver the Services you request.
  • Review and administer partner, vendor, and volunteer applications.
  • Communicate with you about your orders, applications, and event updates.
  • Send marketing and promotional messages by email and text message, where you have opted in, which you may opt out of at any time.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and events.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. Marketing Emails & Text Messages

We send marketing emails and marketing text messages only to people who have opted in to that channel. Email and SMS are separate opt-ins: checking one box does not enroll you in the other, and we do not treat a purchase, an application, or a form submission on its own as consent to marketing.

When you opt in — for example, by checking the email or text message box during checkout or on one of our forms — we record the opt-in itself as proof of consent, including the date and time, the page or form it came from, and the IP address it was submitted from. We retain that record for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate that consent was given.

About our text message program:

  • Messages come from SneakerWeek LLC and cover event announcements, ticket releases, drops, reminders, and related updates for Sneaker Week PDX.
  • Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of any application.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply — your mobile carrier may charge you for messages you send or receive, depending on your plan.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving marketing texts, or HELP for help. You can also email info@sneakerweekpdx.com.
  • We do not sell or rent your mobile phone number, and we do not share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the messaging providers who deliver messages on our behalf.

Regardless of your marketing preferences, we will still send you transactional messages you have asked for — order confirmations, your passes and receipts, and responses to applications or inquiries — because those are necessary to deliver the Services.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as ticketing, payment processing, hosting, email delivery, and analytics.
  • Event partners or sponsors, only where you have consented or where reasonably necessary to deliver an experience you requested.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Your full payment-card details are collected and handled directly by those processors under their own privacy and security practices. We do not store complete payment-card numbers on our systems.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@sneakerweekpdx.com.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those messages, and you may stop marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opting out of one channel does not opt you out of the other. We may still send you transactional messages related to your orders or applications.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

14. Contact Us

If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, contact SneakerWeek LLC at info@sneakerweekpdx.com.
